We do a great job at documenting and re-telling the stories of our different involvements in the Woori Festival. Here, we present to you a couple of our Woori Catalogs we’ve produced over the years.
Woori Catalog 2022
How do we encounter one another in a time of a pandemic? How do we co-produce? The 2022 Woori Festival focused on these questions. The catalogue shows the works of contemporary artists: Billie McTernan, Nuotama Bodomo, Ransford Anane, Kate Wand, Edinam Boni-Mississo, Alice Raymond, Tei Huagie, Edward Lamptey, Gideon Hanyame, Halimatu Iddrisu and Seyram Agbleze.
Woori Catalog 2021
A Festival of our Weaving Tradition was started in 2021. It is currently the only festival dedicated to the tradition of weaving in Ghana. Woori is a local Waali word which means ‘woven fabrics’. The 2021 Woori catalogue include the works of Michael Jackson Blebo, Na Chainkua Reindorf, Esther Ofosu, Edward Lamptey, and Winfred Nana Amoah.
