Jemima Fordjour

Jemimah Fordjour, also known as 'The Yarn Artist,' transforms dyed yarn into powerful statements on climate change and environmental fragility. Her multidisciplinary practice—spanning photography, mixed media, and soft sculpture—challenges the boundaries of materiality, bringing a fresh perspective to contemporary art.
A graduate of KNUST, Jemimah’s artistic journey began in painting, but her desire to extend beyond the traditional canvas led her to experiment with three-dimensional forms. Using yarn as both medium and message, she weaves urgent narratives about the changing realities of our planet.
