Nubuke Foundation supports Wa Methodist School for the Blind and Wa School for the Deaf (Wadeaf) since 2011, offering workshops on design, dyeing, technical understanding, and entrepreneurial skills. Blind students craft modern furniture, while Deaf students create new household products from existing materials.

Description
The Producer Enterprises Promotion Service Centre (PEPS-C), a not-for-profit organisation established in February 1986 by the Brothers FIC, has been supporting the Centre by donating yarns and looms. In addition, it has been offering technical support during Woori: A Festival of our Weaving Tradition.

Aims & Objectives
To mobilise students being churned out from vocational/technical schools (Nandom Technical, St. Agnes, St. Basilide, and St. Clare’s Vocational Schools) for self-sustainable employment.

To help curtail the immigration of the youth drifting from the northern part of Ghana to the southern part in search of non-existent jobs.

To improve the living standard of people by creating more employment opportunities thereby enhancing the income levels of the rural poor, particularly in the north-western part of Ghana.

What We Offer
Skills training in business management, marketing, costing, book-keeping, ICT, leadership training, etc.

Provision of start-up capital in a form of a revolving loan.

Input credit particularly tools, equipment, building and weaving materials.

Provision of office spaces, workshops, and residential accommodation.


Catchment Area
PEPS-C operates in 5 zones (Wa, Tumu, Hamile, Nandom, Jirapa-Nadowli), all located in the Upper West Region.
